I’m Emily Kostelnik, a Clinical Health Psychologist specializing in Health Psychology and someone who truly understands what it means to live with chronic dizziness. I’ve been diagnosed with SCDS, BPPV, vestibular migraine, and PPPD. I’ve walked through the fear, the isolation, the frustration of being misunderstood, and the slow, uncertain road toward healing, especially during my postpartum journey. I know what it feels like when your world shrinks and your body no longer feels predictable or safe.
As both a provider and a patient, I began to see what was missing. Chronic dizziness isn’t just physical. It impacts your nervous system, your thoughts, your identity, your relationships, and your sense of safety in the world. Lasting recovery requires addressing all of it, not just one symptom or one system. Over the past nine years, I’ve immersed myself in vestibular research while integrating trauma science, neuroplasticity, inflammation research, and mind-body medicine. I’ve seen what works clinically. And I’ve lived what works personally.
Back to Balance is the program I wish had existed when I was navigating my own vestibular conditions, a clear, structured roadmap that honors the full complexity of healing. It’s designed to help you move from fear to understanding, from survival to stability, and from isolation to guided support.
You don’t have to piece this together alone.
This is the path I built so you don’t have to walk it without direction.
