I’m a Clinical Health Psychologist who’s spent eight years living and working exclusively with chronic dizziness. I’ve read all of the vestibular research and I’ve applied insights from other conditions to effectively support chronic dizziness. I’ve seen what works for clients. And I’ve walked this path myself.

About Your Instructor:
Dr. Emily Kostelnik

Clinical Psychologist & Fellow Vestibular Warrior


I’m Emily Kostelnik, a Clinical Psychologist specializing in Health Psychology, and more importantly, someone who deeply understands what you’re going through.

This course is built from lived experience. I’ve been diagnosed with SCDS, BPPV, vestibular migraine, and PPPD. I’ve walked through the fear, the frustration, the isolation, and the slow, uncertain path toward healing—especially during my postpartum journey.

What makes this course different is the unique lens I bring: part clinical expertise, part personal insight. As both a provider and a patient, I’ve come to understand just how complex vestibular disorders are—not just physically, but emotionally, cognitively, and spiritually, as well.

My approach is holistic, compassionate, and deeply practical. I created Back to Balance to give you what I wish I had: a clear, structured roadmap that addresses every layer of the healing process. You don’t have to navigate this alone—and I’m here to walk beside you every step of the way.
